"Growing up along the shore of Cohasset, my relationship with the sea began early on. The ocean has always fascinated me. Whether running along Sherbrooke's Beach in a Nor'easter, racing sailboats out of our harbor or exploring the rocks on a hot summer day, the coastline has imprinted itself in my memory. As a plein air oil painter currently living aboard my boat, I pull from these moments in time, drawing from the experience as I develop a composition, color, feeling within each canvas. My paintings are an attempt at translating years of relationships with my surroundings and sharing them with the viewer."
